Distance Learning for your PCI
environmental training
&
environmental certification
in your
choice of one or more of these
three professional designations--
►Certified
Mold Inspector
►Certified Mold Remediator
►Certified
Environmental Hygienist
Tuition is only US$499 for each PCI professional
designation certification
desired, plus US$49 first year
PCI certification
membership dues for each designation,
for a total of
US$548 for each PCI certification desired (including first year
PCI
membership dues).
How Long Will
My PCI Distance Training Take Me To Complete?
You want to improve your career
and earnings by entering into the lucrative environmental mold inspection,
environmental mold remediation, and/or environmental hygiene professions,
but how can
you
fit schooling and
training
into your busy life? The answer is distance
training from the Professional Certification Institute.
Working around
your current schedule and commitments, you can start and finish one to three PCI
certification courses
simultaneously in approximately
60 to 100 hours of intensive home study at your
own schedule and pace. Read the very thorough
mold training course
content.
The Professional Certification Institute distance learning program provides
you with complete, practical, state-of-the-art, ONLINE
training plus offline
resources for in depth mold training and environmental
hygienist education and training
so that you
can earn a
high income as a self-employed environmental professional. A
Certified Mold Inspector concentrates his or her inspection and
testing of a home
or other building on discovering and documenting mold
infestation, including
mold growth hidden INSIDE
ceilings, walls, floors, crawl spaces, attics,
basements, and
heating/cooling ducts and equipment.
A Certified Mold Remediator
removes mold infestations from homes and other
buildings. A
Certified Environmental Hygienist investigates a home or building
for mold plus many other
environmental health risks such as microbiological contamination. Read the
Hygienist
Course Curriculum.
Students
master
their environmental educational courses by online and computer-based study in the
two PCI
password-
protected online
training websites for mold training and environmental
hygienist training, plus the five PCI mold training ebooks
written by
mold expert Phillip Fry.
Students also have the unlimited
email assistance of PCI Instructor
Phillip Fry to answer any student
questions.

Your
first step is to complete (neat printing in black ink) and sign both the
Training Application
and the
Code of Ethics,
and then send both items to
PCI by email attachment to:
envirodangers@yahoo.com.
How do I pay the tuition and annual PCI dues? You can pay with your
Visa, Master Card, American Express Card, or Discover Card by using your
choice of one of the credit card payment systems included at the bottom of
this page. You can
also pay by international bank wire. If you want bank wire instructions,
please email
Mold
Instructor.
How Can I
Make Money with My Certifications?
The mold training courses include many suggestions on how to attract mold
clients to your professional mold
practice. In addition, you would do well financially by utilizing the
low-cost and very effective mold inspector
and mold remediator advertising services available to you on the certified mold
inspectors directory website. Visit
Website Advertising for full details.
For more info, please email Mold
Instructor.
Where Can I
Use My Professional Designation Certifications?
The Certified Mold Inspector and Certified Mold Remediator
professional designation certifications can be used anywhere in the world
except the State of Texas, wherein you would need to attend a
Texas-licensed mold training school that is physically located in Texas.
Because PCI teaches only online and is not located physically in Texas,
PCI cannot provide you with mold professional certifications
for use in
Texas.
The Certified Environmental Hygienist professional designation
certification can be used anywhere in the world,
including Texas, but you
would not be able to use the C.E.H. designation in Texas to do mold
inspection, testing,
and remediation unless you have also become
Texas-trained and licensed to provide mold services.
Please note that you will need to obtain a city or state/provincial
business license in most cities in the USA, Canada,
and elsewhere in the
world to do any kind of business activity including mold inspection,
mold testing, mold remediation, and
environmental hygiene. If your business will be
home-based (and if local zoning does not permit home-based
businesses), you
may need to rent a private, local business mail box street address from a
company like UPS Store
to obtain your local business l
icense, or operate your business in an owned
or rented business property.
If your business activities will include any structural work or
repairs (such as plumbing repairs after you locate a water leak),
you
will probably need to obtain the appropriate contractor license or work in
conjunction with licensed professionals such as a
plumber or construction
contractor. For contractor licensing requirements, check with your local or
state building department,
contractor licensing agency, or building
inspector

Website Posting of Members in Good Standing
Each
Ecology College certificated graduate benefits from having his or her name and
his or her individual certification categories (such as Certified Certified Mold Inspector
and Certified Mold Remediator) published FREE as the
PCI certified member in good standing on the top search engine rated mold
inspector directory website for so long as the inspector and/or remediator keeps his or her
annual dues paid on a current basis.
Each
certified professional's name is published under the appropriate state of his or
her residence. This good standing section is where the general public is able
to: (1) verify whether a particular inspector, contractor, remediator, and/or
environmental hygienist is actually in good standing as to his and her PCI
certification; and (2) find and hire a Certified Mold Inspector, Certified Mold Remediator, and/or
Certified Environmental Hygienist.
If so desired
by the certified professional, for only $49 additional advertising fee per year
[full 12 months], he or she can add to the free posting of his or her good
standing his or her: (1) office or home address [or simply the city name with no
address]; (2) contact phone number with area code; (3) contact cell phone
number with area code; and (4) contact email address. If you want to advertise
in more than one state in the good standing section of the website, you can do
so for $49.00 per year for each additional state desired. Obviously, those PCI
professionals who post their contact information will acquire many new clients
each year from that low-cost posting of their contact information.
If you want
to include your full contact information [as described above], you can pay the
$49.00 per state annual fee for the publication of such full contact
information.
LOW
Advertising Rates are available for Your Own Personal Webpages on PCI's mold inspector
and mold
remediator/contractor website. The annual advertising fee is now only $200.00 for one
metropolitan area (e.g., Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco Bay Area, etc.) or
state area (e.g., Northern Indiana)
per category (Inspector Directory or Remediator/Contractor Directory) for
one ENTIRE year to be on the top-rated mold inspector directory website.
